Eddy Swirl

Eddy was taken in the fall of 2013 on a trip to Southern West Virginia in the New River Gorge. This is a classic example of a time exposure image. The shutter was left open for 30 seconds on this image. An eddy is a pool of water that moves in a circle. So the orange portion of this water is created by leaves moving around and blurring during the exposure. The white comes from bubbles that are in the water  following the same path as the leave.s
